One cannot escape nature in Karenina Fabrizzi's work; it's simply everywhere. Whether injected in the silhouette pieces she creates or outside of them, plants and flowers grow throughout. Profiles of the female figure dominate her work. As she states: "In my work I want to bring nature closer to the observer, to connect people with their roots and memories. Here, the magical sentiment on display seems fairy-like indeed.
