What caught my eye at the Gagosian...

Art at the Gagosian is beyond the reach of most but it's still worth paying attention to. Who's selling what is the question everyone in the art market wants to know. By looking at some of these works you can get a good sense of what is popular. Many would be happy to have these in their home but they are not for everyone. If you studied art history many pieces will be familiar to you. But even if you didn't you can still appreciate the variety and the skill with which they were created.

Norway's Award Winning Twist Gallery Displays Stellar Art and Sculpture

Located about an hour north of Oslo sits the Kistefos sculpture park that houses local and internationally renowned artists. It is open from May 24 to October 2020 this year with the sculpture park open all year round. The Twist gallery which stands at the centre of this idyllic setting is both a"gallery, bridge and sculpture". Designed by Danish architects BIG, Bjarke Ingels Group it recently won the LCD Berlin Award for Best Architecture. The Kistefos derives strong support from its owner Christen Sveaas, a Norwegian businessman who views each artwork an individual piece that blends in natural harmony with the architecture and surrounding environment: "Everything I commission must be site specific. I want the artists to to be triggered by the picturesque landscape and its history".
