A look at art from Africa with FNB Art Joburg

The FNB Art Joburg art fair is central to showing emerging contemporary artists from Africa. Johannesburg, being a cultural hub of South Africa, does a fine job of bridging the immense geographic discrepancies of the continent and aims to display as much art as possible under one umbrella. Whether it is the pensive portraits by Nigerian artist Oliver Okolo or the market scenes of Zambian artist Kandy Daka there's something appealing for everyone. Although art from Africa is highly prized it is still relatively unknown but FNB Art Joburg aims to play a critical role in shaping today's African artists and we hope to see more talent coming out of this continent in the future. I found the whole art fair equally engaging and I hope you do too.

Delhi Art Week 2022

Delhi Art Week was my first real introduction to the art of India. It was the first time it was held on the Artsy platform. The fair held in New Delhi aims to show up and coming as well as established artists on the world stage and onto the art market.  Out of 890 artworks I have selected 33. It was a tough choice but well worth the effort. The sheer volume and variety was on full display here.  I hope you find the selections as engrossing as I do. I look forward to the next fair in 2023. Enjoy.

Volume 1: Art Market Hamptons 2022

It was a stellar showing this year at Art Market Hamptons so much so that I had to include six volumes of it.  Please stay tuned for the next editions.
