Positions Berlin Art Fair 2023

These are a few of my favourite artworks from the Positions Berlin Art Fair. Which one is your favourite? Is it the adorable dog, Alexa, by Monika Plentauskaite and its symbol of fidelity. Or is it Daniel Bodner's Snowfall whose winter scenery is so symbolic of a Canadian Winter. Daniel Bodner has a touch of Emma Haworth in his style. And I like the way he makes one nostalgic for winter. Laurent Chehere's, Les trois Samurais shows us another universe shaped by a flying houses layers upon layers of brick. Its fantastical design and positioning make it a dreamy landscape to ponder. Dobieslaw Gala's, from Steel Rivers series shows a sharp curve, not a road exactly but a painterly choice. It is calculated in its exactitude and renders a slightly dangerous direction. I hope you enjoy these and feel free to comment.
